TERMS OF SERVICE
Bills should be received by the 1st of each month and are due by the 10th. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve you of your responsibility to pay by the due date. Current charges are due and payable as of the due date. All previous balances are due immediately. Nonpayment will result in additional charges and disconnection of service without further notice.
Delinquent Bill: After the 10th of the month the bill is delinquent and a penalty of 10% will be charged to your account. Bills that are delinquent by two billing cycles will result in a disconnection of service and a $75 Non-payment fee will be added to the account. Disconnected services due to non-payment will be reconnected between 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. once all fees are paid. Payments made after 4:00 p.m. will be reconnected the next business day.

- PHONE PAYMENT-Call our office at (864) 427-5832 and choose option one for debit/credit card payment for a fee of $3.90 or pay by check for a fee of $2.45.
- ONLINE-At mrrwc.com with credit/debit card for a fee of $2.95 or by check for a fee of $2.45.
- ACH BANK DRAFT-Go online to set up an account or call the office for a fee of $1.50 each month.
- ONLINE BANK PAYMENT-Make a payment through your bank. No fee.
- BY MAIL-Please enclose your payment stub with your check or money order and make payable to MRWC P O Box 823 Union, SC 29379.
- OUR OFFICE-Located at 1779 Cross Keys Hwy.
- DROP BOX-Located in drive through.
- STOP PAPER BILLS FROM PILING UP-Sign up for paperless billing.
Payments returned for insufficient funds (NFS) will be charged a $30.00 fee.
METER OBSTRUCTION-If we are unable to read a meter due to an obstruction (e.g., parked vehicle, leaves, shrubbery, locked fence). We will estimate the meter reading with the possibility of disconnecting if the obstruction is not rectified.
UTILITY THEFT IS A CRIME. It is unlawful for any unauthorized person to alter, tamper with or bypass a meter which has been installed for the purpose of measuring the use of an immediate disconnection, possible legal action, and a meter tampering fee.
